This role can be based in Hartford, CT or Dublin, OH. For either location, the employee will work a hybrid schedule.

This role will support the Aero-Med business.

What Accounting contributes to Cardinal Health

Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.

Accounting establishes and maintains accounting policies and controls, completes technical research, safeguards the organization's assets and ensures accuracy of accounting and financial records in accordance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between Aero-Med and offshore Genpact team

• Accounts payable oversight

• Freight and SG&A expense analysis

• Accounts receivable breakdown

• Coordinate with customers on past due/statement reconciliation

• Bad debt reserve

• Manage chargeback contracts

• Chargeback reconciliation

• OCOS analysis

• Month end close responsibilities

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferred

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, or equivalent work experience, preferred

• Applies working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks

• Works on projects of moderate scope and complexity

• Identifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes action to resolve

• Applies judgment within defined parameters

• Receives general guidance and may receive more detailed instruction on new projects

• Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy

Anticipated hourly range: $32.50 per hour - $46.39 per hour
