Title: Manager, Supply Chain Integration, Loaders and Articulated Dump Truck - 78647

Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position

Your Responsibilities

As a Manager Supplier Integration, Loaders & Articulated Dump Trucks (ADT) for John Deere Dubuque Works located in Dubuque, IA, you will….

  • Manage and implement supply management activities to support Product Delivery Process projects and programs for the 4WD Loader and ADT product lines. This includes managing supply for new product builds, integrating product line plans and global sourcing strategies, implementing cost reduction projects, integrating suppliers early into new product design, and managing key metrics.

  • Provide work direction and assistance to a group of professional staff, which includes monitoring the progress towards department/project goals, ensuring appropriate resources are available to support division or enterprise initiatives, coaching, developing and performance management.

  • Act as the Product Line Management Teams (PMT & PLMT) supply management representative, participating in the portfolio planning process and leadership team for your product lines and work closely with product engineering groups on new engineering requirements and development of the tech stack for given product line(s) to obtain the necessary and critical data for early supplier selection and supplier integration activities.

  • Work closely with cost management personnel to obtain component cost targets in support of the sourcing decision making process to ensure alignment with product line cost targets.

What Skills You Need

  • Supply management expertise in areas, such as supply chain integration, strategic sourcing, negotiation, cost management, order fulfillment, etc.

  • Experience with product lines and/or Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP).

  • Experience managing product costs and delivering cost reduction projects.

  • Experience in a role that required an understanding of cross-functional areas, such as supply management, manufacturing, product engineering, quality engineering, customer support , etc.

  • Skill in interpersonal communications, negotiation, conflict resolution, and influencing without authority.

  • Experience managing competing priorities and resolving complex problems.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Project management experience.

  • Participation as a team member in major EPDP projects.

  • Experience in supervising/managing professional employees.

  • Experience with new product activities, such as: Phase 2 reviews, Formal Design Reviews, Supplier Readiness Assessments, and metrics to assess program health

  • Experience working with cross divisional / enterprise teams.

  • Experience leading supply management projects and teams.

  • Knowledge of supply management systems, processes, and practices.


Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Degree in business, finance, engineering/technology, supply management, sales or marketing or equivalent experience.
