Job Description

Our Manufacturing Operations teams are the people that make our products. We work in the manufacturing plants with a “Safety First, Quality Always” mindset striving for continuous improvement. We work in the local plant connected to our global manufacturing network to ensure the highest quality of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • The position will be responsible for performing media formulations, sterile component preparation, process equipment operations, visual product inspections, and aseptic harvest/filling/sealing operations

  • The individual will maximize the potential of the overall Operations team and contribute to a work environment that allows for progressive continuous improvement of skills and inclusive behavior norms

  • Perform production operation activities independently with limited coaching support

  • Complete daily work assignments and coordinates work with other team members

  • Competent execution of Good Manufacturing Practice documentation related to Production operations

  • Perform liquid media formulation activities

  • Execute sterile component preparation activities for aseptic operations

  • Perform visual inspection of product vials

  • Perform aseptic harvest/filling/sealing operation activities related to the manufacture of a parental biologic

  • Responsible for ensuring compliance to government regulations through a demonstrated understanding of Standard Operating Procedures and a general knowledge of company policies/guidelines, safety/environmental regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practice's

  • Gain a working knowledge of the production process by becoming qualified to operate process equipment

  • Enter SAP transactions for process instruction sheets related to Production operations

  • Perform production operation activities independently with limited coaching support.

Education Requirement:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully gown into aseptic manufacturing areas

  • Computer literacy in MS Office, Word, Outlook, Excel

  • Effective and constructive team skills, including ability to work independently in teams, collaborate with others, and resolve conflict

  • Must be flexible and able to perform multiple activities

  • Must be goal-oriented and able to manage risks

  • Effective and constructive verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be able to work for extended hours to support manufacturing operations

  • Successful completion of Titer and Chest X-ray

  • This is a day shift position that requires weekends and some holidays

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Working in the pharmaceutical industry and within aseptic clean room environments
