Primary Location: United States (US) - Illinois - East Moline

Function: Customer & Product Support

Title: Functional Consultant- Parts - 81498

Onsite/Remote: Partial Remote Position

This position may be located in Davenport, IA, Bettendorf, IA, Rock Island, IL, Moline, IL, East Moline, IL or Olathe, KS per the hiring manager's discretion. This may be dependent on the successful candidate's background, experience, and proficiency.

This position is eligible for a partial telework schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.

Your Responsibilities

As a Functional Consultant for Dealer Systems Services located in East Moline, IL you will…

  • Perform on- site consulting services to implement Dynamics 365/AX with a focus on the Parts modules

  • Work with customers to understand their business requirements and conduct a gap analysis; convert requirements to functional specs and functional design documents

  • Configure Dynamics 365 to meet client requirements within time- sensitive deadlines utilizing implementation standards and tools/documents

  • Provide ongoing support services to existing clients as needed via email/phone and on- site visits throughout the implementation process

What Skills You Need

  • The ability to collaborate with a diverse team, as well as work independently as needed

  • Excellent communication skills targeted to effectively present information to internal and dealer- level management

  • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, manage shifting priorities and handle numerous time- sensitive projects with multiple deadlines

  • Experience working in a global team environment

  • Must be able to travel up to 50% (both domestic and international)

What Makes You Stand Out

  • 1 or more years of business and/or consulting experience

  • Past IT or business experience with John Deere dealer processes and systems

  • Experience in implementing large- scale organizational change management projects

  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Dynamics AX and D365 F&O

  • Deep understanding of delivering ERP solutions and implementations within Microsoft products

  • Certification(s) in Microsoft Dynamics


Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Operations, Information Management or related field
