This position will be accountable for partnering and directing businesses’ use of the Internal Talent Marketplace to internally reassign employees due to restructures. This role manages the end to end process to initiate a plan, identify role options, orchestrate placement, manage communications, and track results.
This position is a critical resource needed to maintain current temporary employee placements by the Internal Talent Marketplace and execute a new capability using the existing Talent Marketplace framework to internally redeploy talent on a permanent basis. This role is directly tied to the creation of an enterprise talent marketplace strategy.
Initial and primary point of contact between Talent Marketplace and Business representative
Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them
Serves as a key resource and source of expertise on redeployment initiatives and processes
Provides explanations and information to others on the most complex redeployment issues
Works effectively across all levels and functions
Develops innovative solutions to increase our internal talent placements and redeployments
Oversees Talent Supply and Demand information management to drive placement
Performs complex conceptual analyses to evaluate effectiveness of placements and continuously improve our processes and workstreams
Forecasts and plans resource requirements
Ongoing alignment and tracking with Business/TBP/ TA
Continuously improve system and process flow
Reviews work performed by multiple stakeholders and users. Provides recommendations and drives adoption of recommendations for improvement. Brokers role clarity between key constituents as needed
Feed real time data and updates into system
Exports information while maintaining needed confidentiality to support matching
Matching talent with role opportunities
Improve and refine matching algorithms & business rules to increase quality placements
Liaison with TA, HC, TBPs, ER, Career Compass, and all additional stakeholders as necessary
Recommend and Influence Policy
Provides context on which policies need modification and standardization given business inputs
Incorporates industry best practices into talent redeployment practice
Reporting and Communications
Educates and socializes current and future users about Talent Marketplace capabilities and drives adoption across the enterprise.
Manages and streamlines information flows between Marketplace, businesses, and COEs (ER, TA, etc.)
Enables matching decisions with data

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience in designing and implementing process improvements
Experience working with data and designing reporting solutions
Experience with workforce management and redeployment of talent
Experience working within a matrixed environment without direct command; ability to influence outcomes and decisions for broader good
Human capital experience and/or workforce management experience
Experience working within 2 or more internal business segments - breadth of internal experience
Experience and deep knowledge of established talent mobility processes and best practices
Demonstrated experience communicating at all levels and resolving issues through win-win solutions
Proven experience with innovation and process improvement initiatives
Experience with key stakeholder management and driving processes with a solid customer focus
Relationship building or account management experience
Demonstrates knowledge of current and emerging measurement strategies to evaluate the impact of talent deployment initiative
Demonstrates systems thinking when developing new processes or initiatives; ability to consider relevant dependencies across talent mobility spectrum
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
High degree of comfort with ambiguity

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $87,900 to $156,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
