Job Description:

The Export Compliance Specialist supports operational Customs compliance through training, auditing, and operational visits. This position maintains relationships with governmental agencies involved in the movement and release of international shipments. He/She assists in the resolution of operational issues and the clearance of shipments.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

  • Employer will not sponsor a visa for this or future positions.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor Degree of International Equivalent

  • TSA Knowledge/experience (Indirect Air Carrier Standard Security Program).

  • Experience with Known Shipper Management System.

  • Hazardous Materials training (Lithium batteries by air/ground, Consumer commodity by ground 49 CFR)

  • Experience with Restricted Party Screening.

  • Logistics (Air and Ground) experience.

  • Job Grade: 10D

  • Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself - Required.
