BAE Systems Oracle APEX Developer - REMOTE JOB in Endicott, New York

This is a fully remote position

BAE Systems Enterprise Shared Services IT is searching for an Oracle Applications Express (APEX) Developer to join our team providing support to manufacturing and finance operations across our enterprise. You will work closely with stakeholders in the business to accurately define and address problems and enhancements in a diverse manufacturing environment. Understand the business needs, processes, and rationale as well as how it fits into the overall enterprise. You will act as a face of IT to the customer and the face of the customer to the Development teams and IT management.

Working with developers on our APEX support team you will:

  • Provide operational support, troubleshoot defects, and resolve issues using various tools including internal documentation and interaction with Oracle Support.

  • Create ad-hoc scripts to analyze data and support operational requests

  • Provide coordination of small projects to implement custom solutions, application changes, and Oracle patches/upgrades.

  • Provide estimates on the impact and level of effort for requested changes.

  • Gather requirements, analyze against available capabilities, and translate into technical specifications for solution design.

  • Present alternative requirements for solution design and suggest improvements in business process

  • Work with development team to ensure deliverables meet expectations, assist in solution development, and bug troubleshooting.

  • Translate requirements into test scenarios and test scripts, conduct first-level unit testing, and support end-user testing.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • 5 years experience with BS (or 11 years in lieu of degree)

  • 3 years in Application Development

  • 3 Years Oracle Application Express (APEX) experience

  • Ability to deliver modern elegant web applications using a combination of APEX and JavaScript

  • Experience in managing web page layouts with APEX templates and themes.

  • Experience in Oracle ERP financials and/or manufacturing

  • Knowledge of Oracle e-Business Suite technical tools including SQL, PL/SQL and Javascript

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $83900 - $142600

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
