Manager Global Risk and ControlsFinance, Accounting, Audit This is an exempt role.• The Global Risk and Controls (R&C) team is responsible for implementing a risk and control framework that ensures processes implemented for risk assessment, control documentation, execution, monitoring, and testing of internal controls deliver value to the organization efficiently and effectively. In addition, the R&C team directly oversees deploying internal controls for the 1ADM program.• Global Risk and Controls Managers at ADM have the opportunity to develop a strong knowledge and mastery of the company's operations, systems, processes, the industry in which it operates, and key metrics used to measure performance. Those in this role must develop and maintain good working relationships with business partners and deliver accurate, timely, and insightful information. Managers must also establish, monitor, and enforce a system of internal controls to keep the company operating within an acceptable level of risk. Managers must have a proven ability to think and work independently, identify improvement opportunities, and propose solutions to problems. They possess the ability to drive the productivity of large teams, delegate work appropriately, provide development opportunities and coaching to team members, and manage the performance management process for all direct reports, offering a platform for continuous professional growth and development.• Managing ADM’s global internal control environment to enable assessment of compliance with SOX 404 regulatory requirements. Rest assured, you will have the support and resources needed to ensure an effective framework is in place to monitor and test internal controls, validate the adequacy of control documentation, and ensure supporting processes function as designed.• Driving standardization of internal control processes, enhancing internal control documentation and testing procedures, coordinating and managing SOX 404 processes and testing efforts with Management, ADM Internal Audit, and External Audit to assess compliance.• Identifying pain points in control design and execution, assisting with transitioning from the current state of compliance to the future state, and designing efficient and effective solutions.• Consulting the 1ADM program on future state business processes and control design to ensure global compliance with SOX 404.• Assignment, review, and approval of work performed by the R&C team.• Assisting with communication and training of new control expectations within the organization and to external auditors.• Coordinating with IT Risk Assurance to monitor, evaluate, and assess I.T. General Controls (ITGCs) for critical IT applications.• Additional Project work as needed.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Technology or other related field.• Strong understanding of internal controls, especially SOX regulatory requirements and operational and system control procedures.• Strong verbal and written communication and good interpersonal skills to develop support and engagement from various stakeholders.• Ability to provide creative solutions and strong organizational skills.• Self-motivated and dependable with a strong desire to learn and contribute to team efforts.• Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills.• Ability to handle multiple priorities, work under time constraints, and meet deadlines.• Knowledge of ERP systems and the ERP Business Process Methodology.• Experience with various ADM systems or knowledge of ADM business processes is a plus• CPA, CIA, CISA, CRISC, or related certification is a plus.Excited about this role but don’t meet every requirement listed?
