MDM Service Delivery Lead-Various Locations

Position Summary:

Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) has an opportunity for a results oriented IT Service Delivery Lead within the Data & Analytics Team, supporting Master Data Management (MDM). The MDM Service Delivery Lead will manage the analysis of application performance across the Informatica MDM Hub application to ensure customer delivery expectations are being met. Work with the MDM Development team as services are transitioned into production. Provide training and support to end users on developed functionality, and assist in providing change management to the organization. Accountable for the performance of the application and the performance of the Service Provider. Deliver services based on the ITIL Framework. This position can be located in any Global IT hub in North America, South America, EMEA or APAC.

Purpose and Scope

The IT Delivery Lead role oversees the execution of Services and business prioritized key IT functions in the Master Data Management area. Primarily responsible for providing guidance and structure, comprised of a geographically diverse group of vendor and internal resources, in completing deliverables and ensuring appropriate communications to business and/or IT executive leadership. Reporting to the Data Service Delivery Manager, this position will oversee key functions that enable the delivery of high quality service to the business and ensures service delivery partners meet requirements and SLAs. This position is both a vendor and stakeholder facing role and is responsible to ensure expectations are established and effectively managed. The Delivery Lead collaborates with ADM’s internal Vendor Management organization as well as Service Providers responsible for system support and discretionary activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage to SLA and KPIs; holding partner and the company accountable for milestones including technical delivery.

  • Oversee Provider operational plans meet the IT Leadership Team direction and confirm obligations are being delivered, as required

  • Analyze, evaluate, and troubleshoot problems Turn analysis into standard processes to eliminate future issues

  • Determine and implement Transition Management criteria to development teams, in order to ensure the Production environment is maintained

  • Understand and comprehend new system and database changes as they affect MDM

  • Communicate MDM system changes to business users

  • Implement an ITIL approach to Service Delivery Management

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or other related field preferred

  • 5-7 years of general business and/or IT experience

  • Demonstrated ability to work with others, to lead and affect process and organizational changes and improvements

  • General understanding of the MDM technical environment

  • Familiarity with MDM, Data Quality, and Data Governance concepts and principles

  • Experience with Service Now or other ITIL based operational work management system

  • Strong collaboration and problem resolution skills

  • Experience with performance measuring and monitoring

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, with ease and comfort working with internal and external leadership

  • Effectively work with business and project team members across the globe whether face-to-face, web conference, telephone or email

  • Create a positive work environment through teamwork & conflict resolution

  • Understanding of ITIL practices, ;particularly around Service Operation and Service Transition

  • Experience participating with cross-functional teams
