Program Administrator (Decommissioning) -- Nuclear Fuel Services, Inc. - Erwin, TN

Summary Description of Job:

Assists Program Managers in maintaining status of proposals and contract services by the NFS Program Management organization to result in the timely, efficient and accurate supply of materials and services in accordance with contract terms. Assists as a secondary contact for proposal and contract information collection activities with both internal and external customers as directed by supervisor.

Major Duties and Responsibilities of Job:

  • Maintains records of customer or architect/engineer specifications.

  • Assists in preparation of cost and schedule variance reports, price approval requests and cost control strategies.

  • Assists in development of Gantt charts and CPM schedules to integrate multiple cost center activities.

  • Prepares purchase authorizations following customer specifications and NFS standards and procedures under Program Manager supervision.

  • Recognizes critical elements of contract language and cost accounting practices to assist in simple material delivery contracts with customers.

  • Maintains commercial contract documentation and subsequent changes.

  • Assists in data collection and preparation of project financial accounting information to control revenue, receivables and cost.

  • Under the supervision of a Program Manager, assists in preparation of project governance documents including creating project specific procedures or referenced NFS procedures.

  • Assists in preparation of proposals and presentations for customers and diverse audiences.

  • Under supervision, develops alternative strategies to solve project problems.

Educational Requirements of Job :

B.S. -- Engineering, Technical or Business discipline or In lieu of B. S. degree, eight (8) years of manufacturing or engineering experience.

Experience Requirements of Job (Beyond educational or equivalent) :

Three to five years beyond educational or equivalent experience in lieu of degree. Minimum of 3 years' experience in at least two of the following areas: Field services; product design; chemical or mechanical engineering; project controls; finance & accounting or manufacturing management.

The base salary range for this position in [[stateProvince]] at the start of employment is expected to be between $[[custsalaryMin]] and $[[custsalaryMax]] per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,’ unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
