Join the Northrop Grumman HART team. The Homeland Advanced Recognition Technology System (HART) replaces the legacy Automated Biometric Identification System (IDENT) as the primary Department of Homeland Security (DHS) system for storage and processing of biometric and associated biographic information for national security; law enforcement; immigration and border management; intelligence; background investigations for national security positions and certain positions of public trust; and associated testing, training, management reporting, planning and analysis, development of new technologies, and other administrative uses. The Staff Program Planning Scheduling Analyst position is located in Fairfax, Virginia.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Preparing, developing and coordinating the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet all program objectives.

  • Ensuring program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated.

  • Utilize Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.

  • Implementing scheduling best practices as prescribed by industry to include, but not limited to:

  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS)

  • DCMA 14-point

  • Critical Path Analysis

  • Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA)

  • Schedule Performance, Health Metrics and Analysis

  • Provides weekly status and reporting

  • Tracking plans and schedules.

  • Creating, maintaining and validating Schedule data.

  • Performing risk analysis.

  • Identifying and resolving critical path and network logic conflicts.
