Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager of Operations reporting directly to the VP & Chief Information Security Officer - responsible for coordination, execution and optimization of internal operations for the Information Security service line. Initial focus for the Manager will be creating a cadence for briefings of the multiple projects to the CP and to the ES ELT. In addition, the candidate will work closely with the VP & CISO as a member of the Information Security leadership team to coordinate operations, priorities, internal partnerships outside of ES, and external engagements outside of NG.

The Manager of Operations will:

a) Provide operational guidance to the senior leadership team;

b) Set schedules and coordinate priorities for the senior leadership team to support programs, business development, operational performance improvement and organizational change activities;

c) Host internal meetings and forums to discuss and prioritize the allocation

of resources (people, space, indirect budget, etc.);

d) Lead change initiatives and activities;

e) Establish and maintain the InfoSec monthly Program Management Review

f) Assist the VP and CISO to manage external and internal partnerships

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with at least 12 years of demonstrated progressive experience managing programs, leading planning activities, managing operations and driving continuous improvement; OR a Master's degree in engineering discipline with at least 10 years of demonstrated progressive experience managing programs, leading planning activities, managing operations and driving continuous improvement; OR a PhD in engineering discipline with 9 years of demonstrated progressive experience managing programs, leading planning activities, managing operations and driving continuous improvement.

  • Must have at least 4 years of experience as a Manager, or a Leader, with knowledge of workforce planning and organizational development, including all aspects of employee performance and development for direct and/or matrixed reports

  • Expertise leading process improvement and organizational effectiveness

  • Experience with earned value management, schedule management, program financial controls, the business acquisition process and operations, defining and implementing a wide range of performance metrics and dashboards to track trends.

  • In-depth understanding of corporate policies and procedures and well-developed network with other Northrop Grumman business units

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior leaders within a division and with sector staff

  • Experience and relationships with IC customers and programs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Candidates with a Top Secret/SCI security clearance are preferred.

  • Experience working with international businesses strongly desired
