Fiserv Application Analyst in Fishers, Indiana

The Application Analyst should have the ability to take a high-level strategy and work closely with the business and IT teams that maintain the Student Loan Servicing Website. You will develop an efficient and comprehensive solution to FD Education web systems (Student Loan Servicing) and business service layers that perform well, are flexible, maintainable and compliant with all state and federal regulations.

The Application Analyst should understand various methodologies, including agile and waterfall, related to the listed technologies and associated processes and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (architecture and conceptual design, requirements analysis, high level design, detailed design, coding, unit test, integration and system, user and performance level test). Should have basic understanding of SQL Server, Redis and .NET (Server behind SQL) It is common for multiple projects to run concurrently requiring the ability to multi-task along with managing multiple organizational efforts.

The Application Analyst needs to be a team player and work well with other technical and development teams, must have a desire to learn and the ability to teach others.

Skill Requirements:

  • Experience in defining and developing high-volume, horizontally scalable architectures.

  • Experience evaluating new technologies for their appropriateness to proposed solutions, including assessing their strategic and/or tactical benefit.

  • Capable of defining / implementing both business & operational performance metrics into the application solutions

  • Experience working with structured data formats (e.g. XML, and JSON).

  • Experience working with C#, .Net, SQL Server, Redis, RESTful web services and XSLT.

  • Experience working with projects requiring compliance with state and federal regulations.

  • Must have good communication skills.

  • Must have strong problem solving skills.

  • Must be able to gather and assimilate information.

  • Must be able to think strategically and evaluate options in the short, medium and long term.

  • Must be able to be adapt and prioritize.

  • Must be able to think ahead and anticipate problems, issues and solutions.

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Must be local to Indianapolis, IN

  • Must be able to work onsite. (This will not be remote work)

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and 3+ years of work experience programming and designing business applications.

Additional Skills a Plus:

  • .Net CORE

  • A solid understanding of Student Loan servicing
