BAE Systems Digital Environment Engineer in Fort Belvoir, Virginia
Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Systems Admin Principle as a Digital Environment Engineerto join our team located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia supporting Enterprise Cloud Management Agency (ECMA) efforts to implement the architecture, required services, and facilitate Army adoption of the DoD Cloud services. The program provides Information Technology services and technical subject matter expertise (SME) to support overall strategy and migration to the Army cloud (cARMY) environment that currently includes Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure clouds at IL 2, 4, 5 and 6.
The successful candidate develops extensible models (digital twining) for tenant configuration that enables automated deployment and management of all aspects of a tenant environment. Tenant configuration and automation approach should be consistent across Unclassified and Secret. Model architecture design for multi-tenant approach (i.e. hub and spoke model for multi-tenancy design, develop and manage digital engineering environment management, and build/update service estimator tool.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years working experience, may substitute experience for education such as High School graduate with 10 years of experience; candidates with Armed Forces courses, extensive certification, and additional experience are highly encouraged to apply
DoDM 8140.03 (former DoD 8570.01-M) Intermediate (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced) qualification (e.g. Security CA) within 6 months ofstarting position
Must be located within 75 miles of ECMA at Ft. Belvoir, VA.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
