THE WORK

• Maintains, repairs, troubleshoots, modifies and installs various types of electronic equipment and related devices such as electronic transmitting and receiving equipment.

• Applies technical knowledge of electronics principles in determining equipment malfunctions and restoring equipment to its normal operation.

• Applies skill in repairing equipment and evaluating performance and reliability once repairs are made.

• Recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot, and repair equipment as necessary.

• Perform electrical/mechanical adjustment, remove and replace failed components, and make repairs on equipment.

• Document all maintenance actions by inputting data in the Aware Database (MIS) system.

Basic Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Electronic Technology (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university and three years minimum work experience in a related discipline or three years related military training or a combination of education and experience.

• Must be able to use tools and test equipment to troubleshoot a circuit down to component level.

• Three years of increasingly complex and progressive experience in computer systems / network or training device maintenance.

• Experience with Microsoft office software operation and use.

• Must be able to access military installations, pass an initial background check.

• Must possess good written composition and verbal communication skills, ability to express facts and rationale.

• Must be able to stoop, bend, lift and carry up to 35 lbs.

• Must be able to climb stairs daily.

• Needs experience using Oscilloscopes, DMM, Function Generator, Power supply, and multiple hand tools.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader

The base rate for this position in Colorado is

$33.40.

Benefits Offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, retirement savings plan (including a 401(k) feature), health care spending accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave. SCA employees receive a minimum of 80 hours of vacation and 88 hours of holiday paid time off.? Paid sick leave is up to 56 hours annually.? Paid time off is prorated based on start date during the calendar year. ?This is a general summary and fringe benefits are governed by the contract.
