Lockheed Martin Maintenance Logistics Supervisor, F-35 Program in Fort Smith, Arkansas

We are on a mission to strengthen the backbone of the free world by supporting Ebbing Field’s mission as the world class fighter jet training center for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers in Fort Smith, Arkansas

• Candidate may supervise multiple maintenance disciplines in an integrated workforce environment that consists toolroom, supply, maintenance operations, weapons and other support functions.

• Advises Manager of schedule requirement and production issues as they pertain to squadron aircraft.

• Release aircraft for flight (safe for flight or exceptional release)

• Manages general services, repairs, and overhauls of aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure that aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight.

• Creates and assigns work-orders in the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) and accomplishes aircraft safety of flight releases as required.

• Ensure workforce follows appropriate technical instructions, 21-101, 8210D, and local operating instructions.

• Advises management on status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed. Ensures good housekeeping and safety practices are enforced.

• Considered candidates must be capable of working first (1st), second (2nd), or third (3rd) shift(s) dependent on customer needs.

• Candidates should expect to depart on temporary duty assignments with short notice, dependent on customer or LM ICS needs to include stateside or overseas. This may include certain military required health screenings and immunizations.

• Security Clearance Required. Must have at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance AND must be able to obtain and maintain a Final Secret Security clearance.

• Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility might that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

• 6 years minimum aircraft maintenance experience with thorough understanding of aircraft systems, flight line operations, and associated back shop/support functions. (experience must be within the last 3 years)

• Working knowledge and management of programs include:

- Aircraft Scheduling/Records Management

- Job/Maintenance Control

- Configuration control

- Calibrated tools/equipment management

- Tool and FOD

- Hazardous Waste Management

- Supply Chain Management.

• Leadership experience in an aircraft maintenance environment.

Desired Skills:

• F-35 or Fifth generation aircraft maintenance experience

• Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) or Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS) experience

• Understanding of USAF Maintenance Practices

• Strong verbal and written communications skills for coordinating with Field Service Representatives, and Maintenance Managers on schedules, aircraft status and issues as they occur.

• Effective communication skills for coordination at all levels throughout the USAF Wing structure to include Operations, Maintenance, and Logistics Support Managers

• Ability to lead diverse workforce

• Proficient in the use Microsoft Office products

• Ability to develop and present formal briefings and presentations.

• Ability to develop necessary maintenance plans and procedures.

• Knowledge and understanding of USAF AFI 21-101/8210D

• Ability to develop work schedules and assign tasks.

• Experience providing On-the-Job Training to other

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
