Description: Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is looking for a Airframe Service Life Analysis Associate Manager

What You Will Be Doing

This associate manager position will help manage the F-35 airframe service life for all variants and customers. Responsibilities include Durability and Damage Tolerance (DADT) analyses as needed to ensure airframe service life requirements are met and follow-on force life management required to sustain the aircraft throughout the certified operation life. Responsibilities to include but are not limited to:

1) Support of Durability and Damage Tolerance (DADT) analyses of F-35 metallic airframe structure to establish the durability service life of aircraft in the final design Block 3F configuration

2) Production support analyses to ensure production parts / assemblies meet service life requirements

3) CR analysis / release to meet modification life requirements

4) Execution and management of structures force life management for life limited parts which includes Individual Aircraft Tracking (IAT), Loads Environment Spectra Survey (L/ESS), Force Structural Maintenance Plan (FSMP), and others as outlined in Aircraft Structural Integrity Program (ASIP)

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

- Experience with Structural Analysis Methods and Procedures

- Nominal knowledge and experience working with Earned value

- Experience working across multiple teams, organizations, and sites

Desired Skills:

- Familiarity with existing LMAero service life analysis tools, including IMAT

- Experienced in assessing and integrating full scale durability test results

- Previous experience with USAF and NAVAIR customers

- Good communication, both written and oral, is necessary

- Technical writing for the preparation of plans, briefings, and reports

- Experience working with ASIP practices and products, including MIL-STD-1530 and MIL-A-83444 requirements

- Must have expertise in Microsoft office

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
