Compensation: $24.85/hr

Principal Accountabilities

  • Document temperatures per HACCP requirements, document other checks as assigned, ensure product is correct size/weight per customer requirements, report deficiencies, escalate issues

  • The thermal screw operator is also responsible for product changeovers and consistent communication with Extruded lead and grind room material handler

  • The environment is consistently 80F-85F. Employee works in a ready-to-eat environment with edible products, so cleanliness and good hygiene is necessary

  • Safely set up and tear down equipment following LOTO procedures (training provided)

Required Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Must be able to read and write English fluently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous inventory or forklift experience

  • Basic experience with basic handheld scanner

  • Experience formulating meats

  • Ability to use and understand inventory tracking systems on the computer

  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

  • Previous Cargill experience

  • Work history in the last 12 months

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
