Cargill Value Added Protein is a leading marketer of high value, further-processed egg products, ground beef, and poultry products in the US and Canada. Raw Material Sampler
As the Raw Material Sampler you will work in a climate-controlled, cold environment in a production and lab setting taking samples from various meat sources using a driller. You will document and enter results of these samples in a computer. You will also help apply labels on combos of product and inspect combos of raw material.
• Take core samples from various meat sources using core driller
• Place samples collected into lab equipment and read results
• Document findings/results in writing and enter data into computer
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Adhere to all plant safety policies and good manufacturing practices (GMPs)
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must be 18 years or older
• Willing and able to work in a cold environment, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Prior experience working in a food processing facility or prior military experience
• Prior experience using a computer for data entry
