Lockheed Martin Crestron Programmer in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: Programmer needed to provide creative, efficient Crestron programs and user interfaces to control integrated solutions for the latest video conferencing and Audio/Video technologies.

• Design, installation, configuration, integration, and testing of videoconferencing and integrated audio/visual technologies (videoconferencing, multimedia, displays, video projection systems, audio DSP’s, cameras, microphones, streaming technologies, etc.) and A/V based collaboration technologies.

• Design, integration and configuration and support of A/V systems with Crestron control systems.

• Ability to Assist in customer site surveys, including collecting and recording detailed operational, functional and technical requirements, developing project scopes, to provide overall system cost for A/V projects.

• Understanding plans and specifications to identify the materials and equipment needed to ensure compliance with project requirements.

• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of electrical plans, blueprint, and drawings.

• Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.

• Ability to create control system programs and user interfaces based upon given engineering designs, “build to”, and customer requirements documentation.

• Understanding of how Crestron programming cause/effect impacts overall A/V systems.

• Provide system testing and troubleshooting expertise on High-end A/V solutions as related to the remote-control sub-systems of the integrated solutions.

• Programmer will be expected to provide detailed design and functionality notes and all programming documentation.

• Programmer will provide updates to Control Programs as necessary per changes to the equipment compliments or requests for new feature-functionality.

Basic Qualifications:

* Experience with Crestron Design, installation, configuration, integration, and testing of videoconferencing and integrated audio/visual technologies (videoconferencing, multimedia, displays, video projection systems, audio DSP’s, cameras, microphones, streaming technologies, etc.) and A/V based collaboration technologies.

* Troubleshooting of videoconferencing and integrated A/V technologies.

*Ability to obtain Secret clearance

Desired Skills:

• 6 years of audio visual technology experience with 4 years or more spent programming Crestron touch panels.

• Crestron Programmer certification Intermediate (CTI-P201) or Advanced (CTI-P301)

• Familiarity with IT, telecommunications, A/V and electrical equipment including related materials and specifications.

• Strong knowledge of videoconferencing standards.

• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.

• Experience performing complex design/build and conceptual design practices.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Demonstrated experience designing and installing TVOne, BiAmp, Extron, Cisco VTC, Crestron, Lutron, and corresponding hardware and software infrastructure.

• Solid Microsoft Office Skills.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Solid problem solving and consultative skills in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $78,500 - $150,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $90,200 - $170,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
