Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Design Support Engineer. In this role, you may: Evaluate and investigate pertinent design factors on aircraft retrofit and production engineering design, 3-D models, and drawings; Identify design compatibility errors and verify all features are of one interpretation, complete and adequate for downstream users; Ensure the engineering design, models/drawings, and related data meet all contractual, company, and program requirements. The successful candidate must be able to work in a model centric environment and should be efficient with PC operations and MS Office Suite.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or associate's degree obtained within the last 24 months in Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil Engineering, or a related STEM field
• Familiar with CATIA, SolidWorks, or other CAD applications
• Knowledge of both 2D and 3D with a computer-aided design system
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Familiar with reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Very detail oriented with good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
