Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:30 pm - 6:00 am
Job Description:
This position assists with completing product quality checks for Dickies garments.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of this position is to conduct routine measuring, testing, and analysis of garments. The job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Follow SOPs for production and preparatory processes.
Examines garment and parts for defects, such as unfinished raw edges, broken buttons or hooks, uneven stripes or plaids, puckers in seams, loose threads or stitches, or incorrect packaging assortment.
Document quality control issues
Returns rejected garments per SOP
Measure garments for accuracy and quality
Audit fabric and trims to ensure quality product
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Must have solid understanding of fractions, measurements and math. Must have basic computer skills.
Language Skills
Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to be able to communicate with their Shift Manager or Assistant Manager.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to derive and utilize simple mathematical problems, including fractions and decimals. This requirement is used to understand garment measurements to standard.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The person will need to be able to lift up to 30 pounds. The person is required to move from one section of the building to another and to different departments.
Hiring Range :
$15.20 USD - $19.00 USD per hour
