THE WORK

Selected candidate will serve on a team of Equipment Managers (EM) for the Joint Strike Fighter Ground Support Equipment (GSE) product line. The GSE is used on all variants of the Joint Strike Fighter (F-35A/F-35B/F-35C), for both ashore and afloat operating environments. The right candidate will already have experience in the F-35 GSE product line as well as relevant experience with the F-35 Global Sustainment structure and processes. The EM works as part of the SE Field Support team to provide cradle-to-grave management of F-35 GSE and duties include sustainment and problem resolution relative to their specific GSE product line. Additional duties include: reviewing field support requirements and recommending tools and ground support equipment for organizational-level aircraft maintenance; evaluating support equipment designs and identifying the level of repair and required support resources to include identifying spares (what to provision); updating Bill of Materials (BOM) consistent with released manuals or engineering data, identifying scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks including calibration requirements for field systems/equipment; performing maintenance and maintainability demonstrations for customers; reviewing supplier operations and maintenance manuals for technical adequacy; providing logistics input and criteria to assist engineering develop supportable and maintainable designs; contributing to proposal and special project efforts. The candidate will work with their respective product air vehicle design teams to develop/vet new GSE requirements. The EM will also support the F-35 GSE Sustaining Engineering team to resolve operational and technical issues affecting their product line. Experience with unit-level (flight-line) military maintenance support systems is highly beneficial. Some U.S. and international travel may be required.

-Requires extensive background in aviation maintenance industry within the U.S. Navy/USMC, USAF

-Experience using or maintaining F-35 support equipment;

-Working knowledge of JSF Global Sustainment structure & processes;

-Must have a working knowledge of Enterprise-Level Information Management systems;

-This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret clearance

-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.

-Experience in the Foreign Military Sales, NATO service experience, or have worked with a military operation in overseas country/countries;

-Ability to collaborate with and integrate multi-functional teams.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $85,900 - $161,900. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $74,700 - $143,100. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
