The selected candidate will serve as a Technical Leader responsible for providing technical leadership to a team of engineers to ensure successful execution to cost, schedule, and work product commitments. The Engineer will lead a team of engineers skilled in DevSecOps methodologies, tools and technologies. The team is responsible for providing a Continuous Integration & Deployment pipeline to support ground based logistics systems. Duties will include:

• Ensuring operational best practices by working closely with the deployment/releasing teams.

• Leading a team responsible for transitioning organizations from agile and waterfall methodologies to DevSecOps processes and tools.

• Implementing automation technologies and tools across the software development lifecycle from requirements to development to testing and operations

• Serve as a resource to multiple teams (dev, I&T, and ops) to resolve issues on mission-critical systems

• responsibility for enhancing and maintaining telemetry in support of monitoring tool suites throughout code and infrastructure

• collaborate with Senior Managers and First Line managers to plan and execute personnel assignments to match staffing demands

• drive technical excellence, affordability, and continuous improvement while supporting program execution and adherence to engineering development processes, and promoting focus on customer value

• employing Agile development principles and techniques while providing guidance to the design, development, documentation, and testing of a large, complex, logistics software product

• leader duties may include product ownership/management, escalation and removal team impediments, and management of risk

***Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and an Interim Secret clearance required to start.***

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related degree

Ability to design, build, and operate a technology stack

Significant experience in leading a product or development team

Demonstrated proficiency with

- Java Programming Language

- Software design experience

- Object Oriented Design & Development, design pattern, concurrency

-DevSecOps processes and ability to build DevSecOps pipelines, and to drive tooling selection and integration.
