Job Description

The ASFS Management System Coordinator (Program) is responsible to the Senior Principle Quality Manager for the coordination and administration of Management System Assurance and quality assurance activities within the area of responsibility.

The role provides a key resource to enable the Integrated Management System (IMS) to operate effectively and provides an interface for management system assurance including Issue Management and the personnel concerned.

The incumbent shall promote quality and Management System Assurance at every opportunity and ensure compliance with the ASFS Management System Assurance Exposition and supporting procedures under the guidance and governance of the Head of Management System Safety, Compliance and Assurance (Function) and/or ASFS SeniorPrincipalQuality Manager (Business/Governance) as required

• Support a continuous improvement culture underpinned by appropriate management reporting systems and escalationprocesses.

• Assist with the implementation of the Management System Exposition(s) Procedures and processes by measuring and reporting the effectiveness. (16 Box Model)

• Implement the ASFS Management System Assurance System to deliver the policy and objectives and ensure they meet the requirements of customer, legislation and regulation.

• Facilitation and coordination of Hazard Management activitiesutilizingthe ASFS process and governing documentation with relevant transfer and escalation to the appropriate members of the organization.

• Issue Management and Occurrence Management as required and agreed locally within the business.

• Administrate all Management System Assurance informationutilizingthe ASFS Atlassian toolset.

• Co-ordinate Issue Investigations.

• Coordination of all Management System Assurance issues under each delivery and functional area.

• Carry out an initial Issue Management Report System Impact Level (SIL) assessment.

• Use the authority to action SIL 1 Issues and present for closure at the next System Response Group (SRG).

• Collection and coordination of relevant data to support the generation and analysis of Management System Assurance metrics to provide oversight of the effectiveness of the Management System Assurance (doing Management System Assurance) as required.

• Co-ordinate and facilitate Management System Assurance reviews and meetings supported by the generation of required corrective action plans, reports and minutes including SRG, Management Review Group (MRG), System Action Group (SAG), System Compliance and Assurance Reviews (SCAR) at delivery stream level and Organizational System Compliance and Assurance Reviews (OSCAR) at Program level.

• Review, monitor and report staff competencies and supporting training for Management System Assurance aspects of all defined roles.

• Administer, produce and distribute IMS communication material in support of the SMS. Management System assurance.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelor'sdegree, or relevant/equivalent vocational experience.

Auditing experience in an aeronautical environment.

Knowledge of aviation maintenance processes and Management System Assurance management systems.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Relevant knowledge, background and satisfactory experience related to Aeronautical products and services specifically in sustainment operations in an availability contract environment. Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of appropriate regulatory requirements e.g., FAR s, US Navy/Air Force programs and emerging common military regulations.

Ability to support a continuous improvement culture underpinned by appropriate management reporting systems and escalation processes.

A level of understanding of safety and quality assurance systems relating to software production and delivery

A relevant degree or relevant/equivalent vocational experience.

Experienced working within an aeronautical regulated environment, preferable with aircraft maintenance and sustainment products.

Recent experience working within Management System Assurance within an accredited safety and quality system, preferable with aircraft maintenance experience.

Experience in auditing preferably with audit training within an aeronautical environment and understanding of AS9100D and AS9110.

A good knowledge of aviation maintenance processes and Management System Assurance management systems.

Effective and credible communicator with good interpersonal skills.
