Description: Job Opportunity in Cameri, Italy – Important Considerations for Applicants

There are limited viable transportation options to the site, except for those residing in Milan, where multiple transportation options are available. The typical commute from Milan to the facility in Cameri is approximately 45 minutes to an hour. Alternatively, those choosing to live near the lake in Arona can expect a commute of about 40 minutes.

For candidates relocating with families, the American School of Milan serves as the primary international school for expat children.

What You Will Be Doing

• Collaborate with production teams and leadership to integrate defect reduction strategies into broader program objectives

• Provide technical expertise in aircraft structures, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions.

•Analyzing and identifying systemic defect trends related to aircraft structures, seams, and composites.

• Work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective action plans, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and quality objectives.

• Engage with our Leonardo partner's to ensure complete understanding of the build process and procedures across EMAS and Final Assembly build areas in order to reach our year end objectives.

• Manage projects focused on defect reduction, tracking performance metrics, and reporting progress to stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

• Aerospace manufacturing experience

• Aircraft structure repair experience

• F-35 production experience in J860,J850 and J830

• Must be proficient with JEDI,CATIA,SAP and PDM operating systems.

Desired Skills:

• F35 QAR Repair Experience

• Corrective Action/ICA/RCCA training/experience

• Manufacturing Engineering knowledge or experience

Ability to work well in high pressure environment

• Leadership (formal or informal) experience

• Bachelors degree

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
