Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking Summer 2025 Manufacturing Support Team Member Intern to support the Fabrication and Tooling (F&T) team. In this role, you will interact with Front line Supervisors and their teams to resolve constraints and ensure production meets cost, quality, and schedule targets. You should be ready to apply knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies to use towards the creation of standard work to remove waste and embed quality within fabrication and tooling processes. You will be required to support corrective action investigations, root cause analysis, and implement process improvements. The successful candidate will have some technical and/or manufacturing experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.
Must be a US Citizen. This position supports a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Technology (or related degree), Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering, or other related STEM field from an accredited college;
• Previous experience (or expressed interest) working in an Operations role in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be a US Citizen. This position supports a facility that requires special access.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
