Lockheed Martin Military Operations Analysis - Threat Analyst in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: Lockheed Martin (LM) is looking for an Adversary Threat Weapon Analyst for the Military Operations Analysis (MOA) team of our Aeronautics Business Area. As a member the LM MOA Threat Analysis Team, the candidate will focus on foreign adversary military weapons’ performance and employment. The selected candidate will research adversary threat data and analyze foreign military systems to quantify the impact to Lockheed Martin offerings. The duties will include modeling foreign military system performance and operations, performing data analytics and statistical analysis, and developing effective presentations that succinctly communicate the adversary threat weapons.

Candidate will be expected to model foreign adversary threat weapon system details for use in several MOA simulation tools and maintain the repository of details, performance, briefings, and documents following all necessary security protocols. The candidate will provide subject matter expertise on adversary threat weapons and implications of projected future threat weapons to current and future Lockheed Martin offerings. Analyses performed will support numerous classified studies for new business capture, strategic decision making, development of advanced concepts, and evaluation of systems and technologies to support warfighter requirements.

The candidate will be expected to apply critical thinking methods, think strategically and creatively with demonstrated problem-solving skills, and thrive in a high-performing team environment. The candidate will be able to distill large amounts of technical data into impactful, actionable takeaways. You must demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills as the position will require frequent interactions and collaboration with key team members, project leaders, team members, and engineers. The candidate will also collaborate with other technical and support organizations.

The ability to travel on occasion is required.

This position is for a full-time on-site work location within a facility that requires special access. This position is not qualified for telecommute or remote work.

Candidate must be a US Citizen. The applicant selected will be subject to a US government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. This position requires ability to obtain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret Clearance with Special Program Access (SAR)/Special Compartmented Information (SCI) program clearances.

Basic Qualifications:

• An active U.S. Government DoD SECRET security clearance with a current background investigation and the ability to attain both SAP and TS/SCI clearances.

• Experience and Working knowledge for 5 or more years in various aspects of advanced air and space assets and associated technologies in at least one of the following areas:

o Research, Analysis, and Creating Assessments of Foreign Weapon Threats to US Military Operations

o Modeling and Simulation of Radars, Missiles, Integrated Air Defense Systems (IADS), Air and/or Space platforms

o Analysis at the Survivability, Engagement, and/or Mission Level

o Low Observables (LO) Modeling/Analysis

o Infrared (IR)/Electro-Optical (EO)/Acoustic Modeling/Analysis

o Electronic Attack (EA), Electronic Protection (EP), Electronic Support (ES) Countermeasures as part of Electronic Warfare spectrum

o Red and/or Blue Military CONOPs and TTPs

o Experience as a radar engineer

o Authoring Scientific and Technical Intelligence (S&TI) products

o Experience with Threat Modeling and Analysis Program (TMAP) radar performance model

o Experience with radar parametric resources such as Common Emitter Database (CED) or electronic warfare integrated reprogramming (EWIR).

• Familiarity with database management and version control management (Gitlab, etc.).

• Experience presenting and briefing technical data to all levels, from engineers to senior leaders within the organization and U.S. Government.

Desired Skills:

• An active U.S. Government DoD TOP SECRET security clearance with current or previous SAP and/or SCI.

• Technical proficiency in US Government engagement or mission level modeling and simulations tools such as AFSIM, TMAP, ESAMS, STK or other engagement or mission level models.

• Operational military or agency background in any of the following:

o Intelligence Analyst as an All-Source, Signals intelligence (SIGINT), Electronic intelligence (ELINT) or Measurements Intelligence (MASINT) analyst

o Intelligence Analyst – Hardware Material Exploitation

o Fighter or Bomber Pilot

o Air Battle Manager

o Joint Duty Officer

• Advanced degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science.

• Experience with database management and configuration.

• Knowledge of domain specific radar principles, including signal processing, target acquisition, target tracking, resource management, discrimination, and battle manager interfaces.

• Proficiency in at least one of the following: MATLAB, FORTRAN, Perl, Python, C#, or C/C++ or other advanced programming languages.
