As a Multi-Functional Manufacturing Supervisor for the F-35 Production Final Assembly area, you’ll lead and manage manufacturing teams to meet critical cost, schedule, and quality goals. Your expertise in production and team leadership will drive continuous improvement, technical excellence, and a safe work environment for a high-impact team.

What You Will Be Doing

• Team Leadership: Lead and assign daily tasks to mechanics and monitor their execution to ensure all production goals are met.

• Build Plan Execution: Oversee structural assembly and systems installations, ensuring timeliness, quality, and accuracy of aircraft records.

• Quality & Safety Focus: Identify and implement improvements to enhance quality, schedule adherence, and cost efficiency; uphold a Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention culture.

• Certification Compliance: Ensure employees performing certification-required tasks are appropriately certified and trained.

• Workplace Safety: Create a safe work environment, promptly address any unsafe conditions, and ensure compliance with Core and program-specific processes.

• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify skills gaps, implement improvements in manufacturing processes, and develop team technical competencies.

• Employee Engagement: Partner with Labor Relations and HR to foster employee engagement and support team development.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with professional manufacturing/productions methodologies.

• Experience using tools, machines, &/or systems typically used in a production/manufacturing environment.

• Experience with business metrics to drive performance (cost, schedule, quality).

• Experience with Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel).

Desired Skills:

• Greenbelt Certified.

• Working knowledge of Manufacturing Systems including, PDM, MRP, SFM, and EWI.

• Previous development experience.

• Working Knowledge of Crew Plans

• Forecasting manpower.

• Excellent communication skills.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
