Lockheed Martin Project Engineer Senior Staff F-16 (Level 5) in Fort Worth, Texas

You will be the F-16 Falcon Upgrades Project Engineering Team Lead.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Project Engineering Team Lead, you will lead your small team of project engineers in the development and execution of technical plans that are integrated and executed within the F-16 portfolio.
The role addresses issues, identifies risks and opportunities, and develops mitigation strategies. You lead collaborative efforts between the F-16 program management office, chief engineering, systems engineering, functional prime teams, and customers.
A qualified Project Engineering Team Lead has a successful record of planning and executing complex development projects within the aerospace domain. This should include a competent understanding of avionics development, subsystems development, systems integration, lab testing, systems engineering, configuration management, airworthiness, and flight test.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Executing related processes, identifying, coordinating and implementing improvements to best enable team success.
• Leading cross-functional teams to deliver performance excellence.
• Perform as the prime technical contact for projects of varying scale and scope.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree with a STEM major required.
• Project Management or Project Engineering experience on complex aerospace projects.
• Experience building relationships.
• Experience using analytical skills to solve complex technical problems.
• CAM experience.
• Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Experience in planning, conducting, and coordinating activities such as documentation development, technical exchange meetings with stakeholders, test events, and capability deployments.
• Experience with Risk & Opportunity Management.
• Great interpersonal skills working in a team environment.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
