You will be the Project Engineer on the F-16 Project Engineering team. Our team is leading and supporting project execution. This position develops and executes technical plans that are integrated and executed within the F-16 portfolio.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Project Engineer your responsibilities will include:

• The role addresses issues, identifies risks and opportunities, and develops mitigation strategies.

• This individual is the primary interface with F-16 program management office and customers.

• This role requires learning and executing related processes, identifying, coordinating and implementing improvements to best enable team success.

• The candidate must lead cross-functional teams to deliver performance excellence.

• Expected to perform as the prime technical contact for complex projects of varying scale and scope.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with a STEM major required.

• Project Management or Project Engineering experience.

• Experience managing conflicting priorities.

• Experience using strong analytical skills to solve complex technical problems.

• Secret security clearance.

Desired Skills:

• Experience using Jira to plan and execute work.

• Experience with the proposal and execution of programs and projects.

• Experience with System and Software Engineering processes.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
