Location: Fort Worth TX
What You Will Be Doing
As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the F-35 Sustainment Supply Readiness Improvement Team by driving process improvements, optimizing supply chain performance, and ensuring sustainment supportability for the F-35 Fleet. This role requires a highly motivated, analytical, and strategic thinker who can collaborate across multiple teams, engage with high-level customers, and provide data-driven insights to enhance operational readiness.
In this position, you will work closely with internal and external executive leadership, analyzing key performance metrics and integrating change initiatives, such as PAIRs, CRs, Maintenance Plan Changes, and TCTDs. You will be responsible for identifying trends, addressing operational challenges, and implementing corrective actions to maintain and improve contracted performance metrics.
This is a high-visibility role that offers the opportunity to influence decision-making, drive strategic improvements, and contribute to the success of one of the most advanced military aircraft programs in the world. In addition, this role involves mentoring and developing individuals on your team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess supply chain data and key process drivers to develop strategies that improve operational readiness and drive performance outcomes.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering, logistics, and leadership teams, to ensure seamless integration of supply readiness initiatives.
- Oversee PAIRs, CRs, Maintenance Plan Changes, and TCTDs, ensuring that sustainment supportability aligns with program objectives.
- Present findings and recommendations to high-ranking customers and internal executives while fostering strong relationships.
- Proactively monitor supply system changes, identify emerging issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent disruptions.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts, leveraging analytics to identify trends and develop solutions that enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
- Provide real-time insights and data-driven recommendations to leadership to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead and manage initiatives that focus on eliminating bottlenecks, improving supply performance, and meeting contracted sustainment metrics.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or
9 years experience in absence of Degree
- Demonstrated experience with Supply Chain
Management, Logistics, Procurement, and/or
Inventory Management.
- Familiarity with at least one of the following
enterprise resource planning tools: JTD, PDM,
LDM, JDL, VAS, SAP.
- Experience working with military aircraft (i.e.
maintenance, aircraft logistics, supply).
- Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at
a facility that requires special access.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
