As a member of the Estimating and Pricing organization, this individual will be responsible for developing, analyzing, reviewing, and obtaining approval of Engineering Estimates for the F35 Program. These activities will include analyzing program requirements, coordinating and preparing labor basis of estimates (BOEs) and supporting internal proposal reviews, customer audit/fact-findings, and negotiations. The individual will work closely with various Value Stream Team personnel to develop BOEs with substantive task descriptions and sound bases of estimates that meet established proposal quality standards. The job requires extensive coordination with the Program, Engineering, Contracts, Accounting and Finance organizations. Other tasks and responsibilities may include developing Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs) that are based on auditable/repeatable data and can be used as a reliable predictor of tasks to be performed and identifying comparative historical data that can be used as a valid basis of estimate. Also requires interfacing with the Program Office, DCMA and DCAA; presenting estimate data to management; and performing special assignments when required.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited college

- Experience with data analytics and analysis

Desired Skills:

- Excellent written, oral, and task coordination skills.

- Estimating Experience

- Proposal cost estimator experience.

- Knowledge of the proposal process and BOEs

- Current Secret or Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain

- Experience with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel spreadsheets

- Familiarity or experience with FAR, Part 15 proposal requirements

- Experience coordinating complex estimates with changing requirements

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
