The Work Force Integration and Training organization is seeking a Maintenance Trainer for the Ft. Worth, Factory and Field Training team (F&FT).

•Experience in quality assurance, quality principles, and an overall knowledge of aircraft manufacturing and ground operations.

•Experience providing instruction in reference to quality assurance, quality principles, or aircraft manufacturing and ground operations.

•Review lesson plans and materials for technical instruction.

•Responsible for classroom setup, class materials, course currency and changes to course content based on existing technical guidance.

•Responsible for maintaining instructor currency/proficiency of assigned courses.

•Responsible for course control document reviews.

•Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically power point and excel.

•Responsible for roster accuracy, and class completion verification.

•Candidate will be expected to provide technical expertise in a consulting role to quality, engineering and production teams to meet DCMA 8210.0 and other contractual training requirements.

-Plans and delivers quality assurance systems training programs for factory production employees and field support personnel.

-Conducts training and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.

-Executes and maintains company-wide quality assurance training programs as well as the maintenance of a company-wide training system.

-Responsible for instilling and maintaining process discipline through classroom instruction and lab sessions.

-Prepares classrooms and sets-up training materials; conducts classroom and lab training, as required.

-Maintains currency in quality assurance and inspection developments, technical training, and audiovisual techniques utilized, including the maintenance of applicable courseware.

-Interfaces with the Quality Assurance Department to determine training and certification requirements for assigned personnel.

-Documents performance of employees to include notification to supervision/management for de-certification due to substandard performance.

-Assists in shaping the quality culture within the facility by reinforcing quality principles and company policies.

-May revise lesson plans to keep technical information up to date and meet new training requirements.

-May perform data analysis and gather information for new training; prepare and maintain training materials; and coordinate the development of new training materials and training aids.

-May coordinate with site Quality Assurance professionals to meet new quality assurance training requirements.

-May analyze current operating problems and future operating requirements to identify training needs and develop training programs.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX  Discover Fort Worth.

Basic Qualifications:

•Comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance, quality principles, and an overall knowledge of aircraft manufacturing and ground operations.

•Experience with quality inspection training requirements for sheet metal work, reading and interpreting blueprints, fastener installation and removal, working with standard shop tools, bonding techniques and sealants.

•Experience with quality inspection training. Instructor skills. Analytical skills, familiar with QADS, SFM and other manufacturing databases.

Desired Skills:

-Capable of writing, editing, and producing materials for technical instruction; provide assistance and support to production operations by helping determine training needs

-Instructor skills including classroom lecture and lab presentations.

-Strong verbal and written skills

-Strong Computer skills.

-Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
