Description: The PLM AeroSource team is looking for an experienced Software Engineer with Configuration Management experience. This individual will work in an Agile environment to support customized source code in GitLab and create Deployment Packages for pre-integration testing by developers. Your expertise in software automation will play a crucial role in leading efforts to develop and manage CI/CD pipelines. This individual will also be tasked to redesign the AeroSource client to improve the process in managing the infrastructure. The selected candidate will be a key technical resource and will work with teams across the organization.

Responsibilities include:

- Creating a package for the System Admins to deploy to the integration & acceptance test environments.

- Tracking changes in the AeroSource customized source code which include revision control and the establishment of baselines.

- Defining the procedures for creating baselines and releases.

- Investigating ways to improve deployment processes from software development through customized source code deployment to pre-integration environment via Jenkins & Nexus tools

- Ensuring customized source code changes are documented

- Developing software configuration strategy.

- Training software developers in the use of configuration management tools.

- Maintaining the Software Configuration Management System including collection or distribution of code documentation, software build documents, and delivery of customized source code changes to operational environments.

- Redesigning the AeroSource client to better manage the infrastructure

Basic Qualifications:

Significant experience with:

- Applications development and maintenance

- Software configuration management

- UNIX-Solaris command line commands

- Linux command line commands

- MS Windows 10/11 command line commands

- Scripting languages for Unix, Linux, Windows 10/11

- File transfer tools

- Debugging code

Solid technical understanding of:

- GitLab repository

- Git GUI, Sourcetree

- Nexus repository

 reading log files

Desired Skills:

- Experience with Teamcenter PLM

- Understanding of Ansible or equivalent

- Understanding of Gitlab Runner

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $147,700 - $255,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
