Description: The Software Product Acquisition Manager (SPAM) will be the primary technical lead and point of contact responsible for the management of supplier technical execution for F-16 and F-22 Electronic Warfare System subcontracts requiring software and firmware design development.

The SPAM has responsibility for the evaluation, supplier selection, and monitoring of subcontracted projects, ensuring that the software/firmware products to be acquired meet specification and are developed, delivered, and tested in accordance with company and program policies and procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree

Experience with DoD and aerospace industry standard software development processes

Desired Skills:

Experience with development oversight and management of safety relevant, safety critical and safety significant software, (DO-178/DO-254)

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
