Description: Software Engineer Staff - Prognostics & Health Management - Level 4

We are Lockheed Martin

Primary job role is Development and Maturation of Engineering Tools on the F-35 Prognostics & Health Management (PHM) team.

Primary responsibility is developing software applications in support of collection and analysis

of recorded aircraft health management system data.

Responsibilities include working with PHM Capability

Integration team, Production, Flight Test, and IT to

understand and address issues related to PHM software

applications and database operations.

Primary tasks include creation, maintenance, and

administration of PC based software applications and

databases to collect, parse, archive, and analyze F-35

recorded data. Individuals will be required to develop and

maintain associated software documentation including

software requirements specifications, software design

specifications, and procedures according to the level and

detail required by each project.

Primary responsibilities and tasks may require rotational

support outside of normal work hours.

Basic Qualifications:

1) Experience with Database Management and

Development with complex relational databases.

2) Proficiency with C# and SQL

3) Experience with Software Configuration Management (CM) processes and tools

4) Bachelors degree in STEM discipline

Desired Skills:

Experience with Database Management

Experience with Microsoft Access with VBA programming

Experience with Visual Basic

Experience managing large volumes of data and/or large databases performing data storage, compression, optimization, and tuning techniques

Database management experience including; database control, auditing, optimizers, and diagnostics

Windows Software Development

Proficiency with SQL, C#, object-oriented analysis and design, and Microsoft Visual Studio

XML messaging and XML schema experience

Systems or Software engineering experience

Experience with health management systems and data management

Experience with working in a dynamic, diverse team environment

Team player with excellent organizational skills

Self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
