Apply your recently gained college skills to perform as an F-22 Special Test Equipment (STE) Hardware and Software Product Support Engineer.

Primary duties will include:

• Hardware and software installation / de-installation (COTS and custom software)

• Fault detection and fault isolation

• Volume backups

• System monitoring and clean-up

• Provide identification, diagnosis and resolution of STE problems.

Other Duties will include:

• Coordinate with various LM Aero teams (engineering, quality assurance, technical publications, etc.) and component-level vendors when necessary to resolve technical issues and/or isolate component- and/or system-level problems.

• Support telephone and e-mail queries from internal (LM Aero) and external customers, vendors, and field support personal [to include Field Service Engineers (FSE), and F-22 System Program Office (SPO) personnel].

• Maintaining related files, chart development, and provide status briefings of various STE projects.

The selected candidate should be familiar in the use of computer programs to include: Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat, etc.

The ability to travel (domestic and international) upon short notice is required in order to provide F-22 customers with on-site technical assistance in the resolution of unique and/or unusual STE problems. This task may require travel to vendor locations.

Candidate must have excellent customer and interpersonal skills. Able to blend technical skills and responsibility to customer needs.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in one of the following courses of study:

Computer Engineering

Computer Engineering Technology

Computer Science

Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering Technology

Must be able to acquire and maintain a DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level.

Desired Skills:

Familiarity with aircraft sustainment activities

Familiarity with computer hardware maintenance activities

Experience with Technical Writing and Formal Presentations

Experience with include LAbVIEW, C++, C#, Python, JAVA, Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau, and Metrics analysis

Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills with the Ability to Work with and Support Diverse Customers from a Variety of Countries and Backgrounds
