Bellis seeking a Sr. Proposal Specialist to help build thefoundation of our integrated Future Vertical Lift (FVL) Advanced Programs ProposalTeam. This position will be responsible for developing proposal strategies andbest practices, developing recommendations for enterprise-level changes neededto support a competitive proposal process, and ensuring timely proposaldevelopment and delivery with a primary focus on FVL Advanced Programs.

Thisrole is located at Bell’s Fort Worth headquarters.

PositionResponsibilities:

  • Develop/prepare proposal plan for Advanced Programs capture in accordance with current government timelines for Attack and Utility Replace Aircraft (AURA), FVL Maritime Strike, Autonomous Logistics and S&T development programs.

  • Integrate with Proposal specialists on other Advanced Vertical Lift Systems teams to:

  • Assess current enterprise-wide Bell practices and processes related to competitive proposals and develop future state recommendations based on benchmarking comparisons and in-depth reviews with internal and external SMEs on a basis of continuing improvement

  • Seek out internal and external training and development opportunities to advance understanding of new proposal concepts and practices

  • Develop ongoing training and development exercises to ensure enterprise readiness for major proposals

  • Participate in the development and review of proposals, strategies and themes, and support development of proposal management plans as required.

  • Ensure timely development and delivery of proposals.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with Major in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.

PositionRequirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in business operations, marketing, manufacturing, engineering, or finance or similar.

  • 5 years of experience in developing/writing proposals to respond to government requests for proposals (RFP) for defense programs

  • Excellent business skills needed to be credible with our executive team, including developing a strong understanding of Bell’s business

  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills

  • A collaborative, consultative approach with all levels of an organization

  • Exemplary organizational skills and an uncompromising eye for quality and detail in a deadline-driven environment

  • Deep-seated aspiration for continuous learning and improvement

  • Proficiency with full suite of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project

Preferred Skill and Experience:

  • Rotorcraft and/or aerospace industry experience is strongly preferred, but not required
