Lockheed Martin Subcontract Administrator (HYBRID TELEWORK) in Fort Worth, Texas

These job requirements allow the employee to work at a Lockheed Martin-designated office or job site for part of their schedule and has a predefined regular, recurring telework schedule for the remaining part of their work schedule.

THE WORK

In this fast-paced role, you’ll develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms & conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontracts in support of development, production and global sustainment for multiple contract types. You’ll prepare bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences, develop evaluation criteria, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions, select or recommend subcontractors, write subcontract packages for review, prepare awards and administer resulting subcontracts. You’ll negotiate and coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. You’ll participate with contract administration & purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures. You may sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.

You are a driven professional who is comfortable developing and conducting RFP's, and negotiating subcontracts. You also have a problem-solving approach to ensure subcontracts meet cost, quality, schedule and technical requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

•Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner

•Experience in supply chain management, procurement principles, subcontract management

• Experience managing competing priorities

• Experience with Supply Chain Management, ERP system, SAP systems or similar

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Desired Skills:

• 2-5 years’ experience in procurement, subcontract management or supply chain management

• Works effectively both independently and in a collaborative and team-based environment

• Experience with multi-tasking while managing competing priorities

• Experience with analyzing problems and recommending solutions

• Familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS)

• Familiar with Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP) or equivalent purchasing/ERP system, such as Procure to Pay.

• Developing Project/Program Management skills

• Written and verbal communication and organization skills

• Demonstrated sense of urgency, self-motivated

•Learning subcontract management skills/practices

• Experience with negotiations

• Ability to make business-based decisions

• Procurement experience within aerospace technologies or a similar industry

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
