Who You Are

A Category Management, Manager will be assigned to and manage a Fort Worth, TX based team of 10 or more Global Supply Chain professionals on the F-35 program.

What You Will Be Doing

Specific tasks the team is focused on include but are not limited to: solicitation, proposal evaluation and negotiations of moderate-to-high-risk performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts with large defense companies. These key mission system contracts span all lifecycles (Development, Production and Sustainment) and once contracts are in place, continued management of supplier cost, schedule, technical performance and risk will be vital to the program's continued success.

Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with supply chain management

• Experience collaborating effectively across multiple functional areas

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills

• Experience leading teams

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications

• Experience collaborating and communicating cross-functionally, building consensus and shaping/influencing opinion

• Must have ability to obtain secret security clearance

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university

• Ability to analyze a problems and recommend solutions

• Experience utilizing continuous improvement and problem-solving methodologies and arriving on at effective solutions

• Experience making data-based business decisions

• Experience with FAR and DFAR requirements

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
