A Global Supply Chain, Subcontract Program Manager (SPM)

What You Will Be Doing

The Subcontract Program Manager (SPM) for Aeronautics all Honeywell systems. Leads teams overseeing subcontractors or critical subcontracted systems for all contract types and programs. Directs and manages all costs, quality, schedule, financial and technical performance requirements that are levied on the subcontractor or the product family and is required to ensure performance and support of the contract milestones of the system. Develops sourcing and subcontract program management strategic plans that address overall program capture needs and execution. Acts as the main focal point to the subcontractor and program management office. Responsible for and directs all phases of the subcontract from initiation of the business case for make or buy decisions through requests for proposals, subcontract management plans, negotiation strategy, cost accountability and program execution. Makes decisions affecting the performance of the subcontractor. Establishes milestone objectives and manages performance to committed schedules and contractual specifications. Leads team normally composed of engineers, quality and procurement personnel.

AeroSCM

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university

• Experience with schedule, cost, and performance responsibilities

• Negotiation Experience

• Experience with SCM Policies & Procedures, government contracting regulations and Supplier Performance Management (SPM)

• Experience managing major suppliers working in an Integrated Product Team (IPT)

• Experience with Microsoft suite of management tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc…)

Desired Skills:

• Experience effectively communicating with senior leaders to include program, company, subcontractors and customers

• Firm understanding of how to capture, aggregate, analyze, and present data that effectively demonstrates supplier performance, identifying potential risks and opportunities, and leads a cross functional team to mitigate issues.

• Experience working with teams and providing clear direction on expectations, deliverables and ensuring completion of those items

• Formal team lead or leadership experience

• Experience with competing major subsystems

• Experience with challenging suppliers

• Experience with MRAs and PBLs

• Program or Project Management Experience

• Experience to training, coaching and mentoring new and emerging talent

• Experience operating autonomously, driving actions and results internally and externally

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
