Lockheed Martin System Security Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: Systems Security Engineering (SSE) is responsible for coordinating with Product Development Teams to ensure that Air Vehicle systems are created according to secure principles. The engineer in this position ensures that the Weapon System / Air System is designed, developed, and documented in a manner that supports required security Assessment and Authorization (A&A) efforts. Serves as a coordination point for System Security topics that span multiple teams. Provides system security requirements allocation to design teams that are consistent with design concepts, architectures, modes, levels, and interfaces.

In addition, the engineer in this position is responsible for producing and reviewing the A&A documentation required to support program certification efforts and Approval to Operate (ATO) decisions for F-22 programs and projects related to IFG.

Candidate must possess and demonstrate a level of understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and security certification processes. Ideal candidate also has experience with developing and flowing requirements, software processes, and security design definition.

Analyzes software requirements, contributes during requirements and design reviews, creates high and low level software design documentation, develops software guideline updates, creates A&A plans for software implementation, and integration of software into system and build environments.

Gives direction to engineers and works with individuals from various software development groups.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired Skills: Experience with security requirements allocation and requirement tracing techniques.

Experience with security architecture concepts including TCB, security communications, and encryption.

Excellent written communication skills

Experience in system security design and software.

Experience in security requirements identification.

Experience with the Systems Engineering lifecycle and system security techniques.
