You will be a Systems Engineer for the F-35 and ADP Tactical Simulations team. Our team is responsible for end-to-end systems engineering lifecycle activities in the development of tactical simulations in support of the F-35 and Advanced Development Program (ADP) projects.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Systems Engineer you will perform requirements engineering and verification testing in support of multiple projects and customers that utilize our high fidelity air vehicle simulators. You will work with our stakeholders, customers, architects, and developers to define system needs and ensure they are realized.

You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in STEM area (Aeronautical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics desired)

Desired Skills:

• Experience in development of System Requirements and Allocation to subsystems.

• Experience in development and execution of System Test Procedures.

• Familiarity with DOORS and JIRA

• Familiarity with Change Request (CR), Requirement, Verification, and Review life cycles (JWP, WPE, etc.)

• Experience developing model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models that includes development of Use Cases, activity diagrams, and sequence diagrams.

• Experience in delivering products to external customers

• Basic knowledge of the Windows and Linux operating

systems.

• Experience in development of detailed system design

• Strong oral written communication skills

• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

• Strong work ethic and self-motivation

• Strong understanding of product development

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
