Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer, Simulation Integration Lead - level 4 in Fort Worth, Texas

What You Will Be Doing

This position is for a System Integration Lead for all the Multi-ship Virtual Development Labs. A single Multi-ship Virtual Development Lab (MVDL) is a digital twin simulation system (hardware and software) that enables the development and test of F-35 Operational Flight Programs (OFPs). The selected candidate will be responsible for and perform the integration of various software releases and hardware systems in the Multi-ship Virtual Development Lab (MVDL) venues. This includes working closely with cross-functional technical teams to understand systems requirements, identifying potential integration issues, and developing and coordinating solutions to ensure smooth system operation. The MVDL Integration Lead will coordinate with Hardware, System, and Software teams to verify new software builds and hardware/system upgrades are ready for release to the Operations team.

Who You Are

The ideal candidate for this role will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, as well as experience in system integration. They should have a strong understanding of various software and hardware systems, as well as experience with integration tools and technologies. This is a hands-on position and selected candidate will spend the majority of their time in the MVDLs verifying the successful operation of new software releases and hardware upgrades.

In addition, the System Integration Engineer should have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They should also be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and have a strong attention to detail.

You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (STEM).

• Experience in system integration.

• Strong understanding of software and hardware systems.

• Software/Systems Engineering experience or equivalent.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in lab integration and test.

• Experience with software test and software debug.

• Experience with software programming in both C++.

• Experience with F-35 Mission Systems software and/or OFP software development.

• Experience with Linux Operating Systems.

• Familiarity with JIRA.

• Familiarity with JASPER and associated tools.

• Familiarity with F-35 SPAR lifecycle and disposition process.

• Experienced working with multiple LM Aero F-35 engineering teams.

• Familiarity with F-35 Mission Systems Architecture and subsystems

• Familiarity with TR3 architecture.

• Experience in Mission Systems capabilities within aircraft platform(s).

• Experience working with cross collaboration with multiple engineering teams.

• Interim Secret required prior to start.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
