ManpowerGroup Machine Operator - Fountain Inn, SC - A/B shift- Direct Hire! in Fountain Inn, South Carolina

The Machine Operator constructs and assembles components and parts to the required customer specifications. The Operator ensures 100% delivery to the customer while maintaining the safety of all working personnel in surrounding areas.

Available shifts:

Morning Shift: 7 AM to 7 PM, 6 to 7 days a week, Hourly Pay $16.79

Night Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM, 6 to 7 days a week, Hourly Pay $17.79

Typically, done by 5:30 AM/PM but be prepared to work a full twelve hours at times.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process and assemble jigs and features.

  • Moving parts to workstation from racks, boxes, carousals, etc.

  • Joining parts using screws, rivets, clips, etc

  • Securing fasteners with manual, hydraulic, and electric tools.

  • Able to trim, using a utility knife or other type of trimming device per the job instruction.

  • Applying adhesive appliques, gaskets, etc

  • Follow written procedures (ODS), monitor quality, and communicate quality issues to the appropriate personnel.

  • Checking for and replacing missing or broken parts.

  • Identifying, marking and repairing defects.

  • Ensure health and safety measures are followed

  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area using 5S standards.

  • Attend Daily Shift Meetings

  • Handling heavy machinery such as forklifts.
