The Data Manager for Data Management Engineering vertical will be responsible for overseeing the continue development of the MINT data movement framework and application building out a full feature platform. You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Residency within a commutable distance of the Brentwood, Franklin, or Nashville area of Tennessee is preferred (but not required) in case of occasional travel needed to our Brentwood office.

Manage the development process and be responsible for ensuring the deliverables are completed in each phase of the process on schedule
Participate in the overall technical architecture and in selecting the software utilized in developing the application
Drive best-breed technology, innovation and strategy utilizing data hub solution, cloud-based platform, Rules based technology and Data Governance alignment
Deliver DM and analytic capabilities aligned with business goals and nurturing solid business relationships
Ensure the proper alignment of resources and project priorities within the team
Participate in employee recruiting and selection and insure at all times that we had an effective team with an appropriate mix of skill sets and competency levels

5+ years of experience managing direct reports
Experience utilizing cloud solutions
Experience in best-practice Data Engineering Lifecycle, including solid ETL experience
Architecture experience (both as an active member and as a leader) in developing strategic solutions that align with the business portfolio
BI (Business Intelligence) experience
Experience with building out and using data platforms utilizing C#/.Net skills
Experience with Data Modeling, ideally with emphasis on data quality/integrity, integration and metadata
Broad knowledge of the healthcare industry, ideally including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part C, Claims Eligibility, and Post-acute care/Adjudication

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only : The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
