Cargill Production Operator Tier II in Gainesville, Georgia
This Full time position is located in Gainesville, Georgia; however please expect receiving calls from a 952 number in case you are considered. Relocation assistance is not provided.
This position ensures the safe and efficient operation of the Production Operator Tier II position. Troubleshoots problems with production flow and equipment. Leads by example while following Cargill’s “Guiding Principles”. Ensures that correct information is shared to enable operators to make products that are within customer specifications.
Direct responsibility for the day to day operations of running the liquid bottling line. Practicing safe behaviors to ensure the line runs safely and efficiently. Will be required to make process changes to the blow molder, filler, labeler, case packer as necessary. Frequently trains or assists other operators on the equipment. Help replenish raw materials such as corrugate, preforms, caps, etc.
Ensures records are maintained and completed according to company and regulatory policies. Perform operator care on the line. Participate in training, communicate and follow up on what is needed for the production line to succeed. Ensure Cargill’s food safety and quality criteria are communicated and met. Complete all daily tasks and keep the plant audit ready at all times.
Previous liquid bottling line experience is preferred for this position.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to elevated work areas, hot temperatures, wet conditions, confined spaces, and outside weather conditions.

Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.
Must be able to read/write English
High School diploma or Equivalent.
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work in elevated areas.
Must be able to operate machinery.
Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays with advance notice
Able to perform physical job duties such as: work in confined spaces.
Prior experience in production related work.
