Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a Senior Contracts Management position in Grand Prairie, TX to support a diverse portfolio of Munitions opportunities in the Precision Fires line of business (GMLRS/ER-GMLRS programs).

The ideal candidate for this position shall be familiar and experienced with the following contractual responsibilities: Negotiates, administers, extends, terminates, and renegotiates standard and nonstandard contracts. Evaluates contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations. Maintains communications to ensure timely contract execution by the parties. May plan and participate in training of contract practices and negotiations to company personnel. The position will require onsite work >50% of the time and occasional travel is required.

What You Will Be Doing

- Provide Contract Administration and Negotiation support in all aspects of the contract life cycle including proposals, negotiations, administration, and contract closeout.

- Assist with the preparation of proposals, preparation of proposal review briefing packages, participate in fact finding and negotiation; provide risk assessments and offer creative contracting approaches to mitigate risks, including alternative contractual language / clauses.

- Assist with the preparation of Pricing and Availability (P&A) responses for FMS (Foreign Military Sales) and subsequent processes of securing Letters of Acceptance (LOAs) as required.

- Draft business correspondence to result in or influence desired business outcomes and prepare internal directives (Contract Authorizations and Proposal Authorizations).

- Review and evaluate Customer requests for proposal or revisions to contracts.

- Maintain regular communications with external Customers to ensure timely execution of contractual documents and to apprise Customers of issues and the Company's position on various complex matters of business.

- Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements established during negotiations.

- Investigate and reconcile significant contract changes involving cost, specifications, schedules, etc. and advise management of contractual rights and responsibilities.

- Coordinate with Accounting invoicing requirements such as Progress Payments, Performance Based Payments, Deliverable invoices, and cost vouchers.

For a level 3, we typically require 6 yrs of professional experience; 4 yrs of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

Basic Qualifications:

- Contract life cycle experience including proposals, negotiations, administration, and closeout.

- Exceptional and effective communication skills; both written and verbal.

- Microsoft Office computer experience is required.

- Ability to obtain a security clearance.

- Possess basic working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).

Desired Skills:

- Experience with Electronic Contracting Environment (ECE) or similar Contract Management software tools.

- Experience negotiating and administering contracts with the U.S. Government/Foreign Military Sales is preferred with a special emphasis upon Production and/or Development type contracts.

- Experience with IDIQ, OTA, and BOA type contracts is highly desired.

- Working knowledge of Intellectual Property, Data Rights Assertions, FAR/DFARS Compliant markings/legends, and a working knowledge of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL).

- Candidate should be able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and achieve program goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Candidate should be a proactive self-starter who is detailed oriented, as well as a team player.

- Candidate should be capable of working independently with general supervision.

- The qualified individual should be able to establish effective working relationships and communications with all internal and external customers and possess excellent business acumen.

- The candidate must have experience with complex financial terms and concepts (Long Range Plan (LRP), Return on Sale (ROS), proposal pricing, Executive Planning Panel experience, etc.).

- Should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- The candidate should possess understanding of contractual and financial concepts and principles.

- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
