Description:
You will be the Contracts Management Sr, responsible for leading contract management functions for the Precision Fires Line of Business at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control. Our team is responsible for delivering exceptional contract management expertise to support the GMLRS / ER-GMLRS Transition to Production Munitions team and drive business success.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Contracts Management Sr, you will be responsible for providing strategic contract management leadership and oversight to the Precision Fires Line of Business, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
•Leading contract management functions, including contract negotiation, contract administration, and contract close-out
•Providing guidance and oversight to contract management team members to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
•Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including program management, finance, and engineering, to ensure contract requirements are met and risks are mitigated
•Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners
•Analyzing and resolving complex contract issues, including disputes, claims, and terminations
•Ensuring contract compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Contract life cycle experience including proposals, negotiations, administration, and closeout.
- Exceptional and effective communication skills; both written and verbal.
- Microsoft Office computer experience is required.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Possess basic working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).

- Cost Type, Fixed Price, and Incentive Fee
Contracting Type knowledge
- Extensive negotiation experience and knowledge of Precision Fires Munitions portfolio
- FMS Contracting Experience
- Ability to engage in routine and unique problems / issues to help develop solutions for multi-million-dollar complex contracts
- Proven ability to develop internal and external relationships
- Ability to coordinate DCAA and DCMA activities including audits, financing payments, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Experience working autonomously with general direction
- Experience handling multiple, widely-varied
assignments
- Experience problem solving, including identifying issues and developing solutions
- Detail oriented and self-starter and teamwork oriented
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an expert, authority in discipline.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
